Achieving our vision and mission requires effective leadership. That’s why maintaining a skilled and knowledgeable Board of Directors is always a priority for Broadmead Care. We have established a skills profile that allows us to actively recruit new board members while maintaining the competencies and stakeholder representation we need for strong, effective governance.
Our volunteer Board of Directors provides leadership, support and accountability for all society operations. The Board monitors quality of care; formulates and reviews the Broadmead Care constitution and bylaws; and establishes the mission, values, visions and strategic direction of our organization. Broadmead Care has an active committee structure – with specific work plans and measurable objectives aligned to our strategic plan.
The Board has an ongoing commitment to ensure a close working relationship with the Broadmead Care management team, all levels of government and members of the community.
