Volunteers play a vital role in making every moment matter for Broadmead Care residents and clients. We are grateful to the 150 volunteers who share approximately 1,200 hours of their time each month assisting staff to maintain an environment that supports retained abilities, celebrates successes, fosters hope, and promotes social involvement.
Broadmead Care hopes to engage volunteers who reflect the diversity of our community and wants to work with volunteers to make their volunteer experience as rewarding for them as it is for our veterans, residents and clients.
Broadmead Care knows how busy people's lives can be and strives to be as flexible and accommodating as possible with volunteers' schedules and personal goals.
Broadmead Care provides opportunities for:
- Busy families and friends to spend time together in community service close to home (many residents appreciate visits with your children)
- Young people to gain valuable work experience and develop a lifelong value of volunteerism and community service
- Retirees with a lifetime of skills, unique experience and new-found time to share
- People of all backgrounds who share our organization’s values and believe they have something to contribute to enrich the lives of others.
