If you would like to volunteer at the Broadmead Care Society, the first step is to call or email our Coordinator of Volunteers, Kelly Sprackett, 250-658-3205.
She will arrange for you to undergo telephone pre-screening to ensure that you understand the role of volunteers and determine how you want to become involved. After phone screening, we will invite you for an interview and tour of one of our sites to help us match your skills and interests with our current needs.
Broadmead Care asks you to complete and bring along a volunteer application form to the interview. If we feel we have a suitable volunteer role for you, we will give also you a form allowing us to complete a criminal record check and will invite you to the next orientation session. After this, you will learn about the specific duties of your position.
